Construction Details:

These costumes basically speak for themselves. I mean, the jackets were made using a regular jacket pattern and the school patches were ironed on. The only thing we had to really think about were the ties. I didn't want to spend money on the official ones you can buy online. Because of that, we made ours ourselves. We basically bought a regular black tie and taped purple ribbon onto them. It was the cheap way of doing it, but honestly. They look as good as anything we could have bought. The wigs were actually styled by my mom. THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME CUTTING/STYLING A WIG. They were about 10 inches longer when we started and Casey's flipped out. Yeees. We had to do major surgery on them and that was terrifying, but I think they turned out ok. At least they were wearable and matched each others.
