Construction Details:

A reproduction of her first outfit in the movie. There was little actual sewing done on this costume -- everything was bought and altered. The jacket was studded with a Bedazzler; ditto for the rhinestones on the boots. The shirt was hand-painted, with sequins hand-sewn on. Everything else was a thrift store or costume store find.

Personal Thoughts:

This is an unusual costume for me, as I'm mostly known for 'cute' stuff. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to pull it off because of that, but from what I can tell, it went over well.
