Construction Details:

I have one place to get fabric when I'm at school: Jo-Ann's. Outside is upholstery fabric, and lining is thick and satiny and sheds like a Maine Coon cat, but I could use both sides, so. Lace and detailing was sewn on during the flight to Y-con; thank god I had an aisle seat! Earrings were made from a variety of glass beads, the same that is on the end of the braid. Coat was draft-patterned from various pieces of a shirtdress and a bathrobe I have, and still needs tailoring, tbh, but I am the queen of procrastination, so by the time I got around to making the coat, I had limited time. Whoops.

Personal Thoughts:

I've been meaning to make Jack for about a year and a half, and I finally just said "let's do this!" and got down to it. POCKETWAAAAAAAAAAAAATCH. WHERE JACK. WHERE JACK AT Also, I loved tormenting my roommates with having the super long wig in our hallway for a while while I styled it, as it contained the only counter high enough that I could.

Styling Notes

Took the clip out of the ponytail that came with the wig, sewed it in the back of the base wig, and braided it. After a few times having to redo the braid because that coat pulls it out, the braid is sealed with some aquanet.
