Construction Details:

I bought the shirt at goodwill. It is the brightest most yellow shirt I have ever seen. I made the floaty crowny thing (lol) out of a cardboard pop box and some extra silver wire i had. I then attached it to a headband of mine and POOF! like magic I have a floating crown. The wings are from an old, VERY old Halloween costume from when I was a fairy godmother (yeah ironic right?) in kindergarden. I'm surprised the wings managed to last this long up in the costume drawer. The wand was made with Styrofoam and a wooden dowel. All which I had left over from another project. All in all I spent about 4 or 5 bucks on this costume. I don't think it turned out looking too bad either. I would like to redo it later, maybe add a wig. I didn't buy a wig this time, and I couldn't spray dye my hair cause I just got it professionally colored so I didn't want to fudge with that. But styling it was a pain in the butt. So much spray and hair gunk went into keeping my bang up! I'm not really a fan of how the hair turned out either :(
