Construction Details:

During the summer, EMP_Maniac told me he finally was going to do a skit he had been wanting to do for a long time at NYAF 09, and asked me to do C.C.'s Empress outfit from the CLAMP designs to match his Emperor outfit. Despite numerous claims from others that it was a ridiculous and impossible design, I boldly (and a bit ignorantly) took on the task, not bothering to start until the month of the con (and unfortunately right as classes started up again..) As I was rushed, and also balancing school work, and my part-time job, this costume is not complete and not perfect by FAR. The back of the dress does not scoop as low as it should, and I am missing the green diamonds that hang from the shoulders/waist piece as well as her crown and the garters that should attach to the boots. Since it was mostly to be a stage costume, and I was VERY much limited on time, I took alot of shortcuts, but as it was mostly to be a stage costume it ended up working out. Needs to be fixed up ALOT for next time, but it was a HUGE learning process and I will be ready for my next challenge!
