The story of this costume is a relatively short but highly humorous one. I saw Evangelion 2.0, I fell in love with it and with the new character introduced, Mari. The problem was I had only one week before NYAF and practically no sewing supplies (having just moved back into college)…but I made up for it with determination. I must thank Breathlessaire and Starlighthoney; had they not given me sewing supplies for my birthday I would have had absolutely no supplies, and this costume would not have been possible! I have to say I’m really proud of this costume considering the lack of time and lack of machine I was working with. It’s thrown together in the most random way, but I love it anyway!
