Construction Details:

My friend Meru and I have been wanting to cosplay Strawberry Panic characters for ages. So we finally got around to it! We decided to make their spring uniforms since they're really cute and would hopefully be more comfortable than their winter ones(it gets pretty hot down here in Georgia). I ended up choosing Tamao to cosplay and geez was that wig a beast to style. And in addition to my own costume I also made the jumper for the Kaori in our group.

Styling Notes

I sewed in wefts for highlights using wefts scavenged from other wigs. I also made wefts from scratch using loose hair purchased from Amphigory. The made wefts were added to the bottom of the wig before pulling it up. I also made the braid using loose hair and caulk. The braid was attached to the base wig after it was pulled up.
