Construction Details:

I watched Blue Submarine No.6 many many years ago and instantly fell in love with Mutio. Her character is so unique! I really enjoyed cosplaying her although because I'm a bigger girl I had to wear a cincher underneath which made the costume uncomfortable. I really enjoyed not having to wear shoes....expect when I went outside in the rain >_<

I had pink fake nails that I tried to glue to the gloves but they didn't stay >_<

CONSTRUCTION:

The Headpiece was made out of fabric. I plan to remake it using a more slinky fabric so it will lay on my head better. I intended to attach the red part to my forehead but the spirit glue wouldn't hold it because of the thickness.

The Ears were carved out of foam, covered in model magic clay, run over by the car to flatten and compress them then air brushed.

The Bodysuit was air brushed on me, which was very messy!! I had yellow and black paint all over my body for a week.

The Pink Boobie Things are made out of a boa that I cut and sewed onto the bodysuit.

The Arm Fins were made using a thin shiny transparent fabric that I sewed to the wrist and beneath the elbow

The Makeup was Mehron White Cake Makeup and Aquacolor Red. I used baby powder to set it all and wore red contacts.
