Construction Details:

Any of you who know me, have not heard me shut up about this show! I was addicted from the first episode! For some strange reason, I did feel a connection with Patalliro and when the possibility of cosplaying came up, I jumped at the chance to do so and begged Corey to be Bancoran.*__* Seeing I had a "fat suit" that I made for my chopper costume, I figured I could put it towards other projects like Patalliro, since he is a chubby little boy. I feel fat and sassy in this costume lol(so no I didn't let myself go hahah)I think it really helps gives the funny body shape of that he has. The yellow was a linen solid I bought at Joann's. It wrinkled so much. Just looking at it made it wrinkle >_< Because I knew this costume would be hot, the red shirt is only a collar added on to the yellow suit.It ended up not being as hot as I expected it to be. It's actually quite comfortable and squishy! The boot covers are white vinyl over my red pumps. The wig was a shoulder-length bob wig that I cut and styled. My favorite part is the funny little skirt part of his shirt. I used a doughnut shaped piece of furniture foam in it to make it stay up in place and covered it with the linen. When I travel with this, I dress the foam fat suit with the suit top, medals and belts so all I have to do is pull it over my head and I am already dressed! I had so much fun being this character! I can be super weird and energetic.I even randomly break out into the "who killed cock robin dance". Bancoran is my favorite costume that Corey has worn! Personal Thoughts:

OMGZ this show!!!<3 It's a 1982 comedy about a sped prince named Patalliro of a made up European country and his bishonen body guard named Bancoran. Patalliro is pretty annoying to Bancoran and so he tends to smack around Patalliro a lot. The character interaction between the two is where the comedy is the best for me! ( I tried to reflect that in our cosplay photos! ^__^) I think I like this show a lot because it does have that classic feel to it and it's so different from any anime I've seen!! I really can't compare it to anything else.
