About this Costume

I had so much fun Cosplaying as Ashley that I really wanted to make another costume from RE for AN that would be comfortable and not too complicated. Jill's outfit from RE3 really stood out to me and I wanted to challenge myself to make and wear a tube top. This costume actually turned out to be really complicated because I decided to make her harness and getting it to sit just right was a real problem. I was really happy that I was able to find really nice boots to use for this costume on eBay. I was starting to run out of hope when I found the boots that I ordered. I tried to capture as many of the details of Jill's outfit as possible including the buttons on the back of the top and the harness connectors. I don't have any photos of the costume from behind so you can't see the detail but I did do it. XD I'm such a poser since I've never actually played RE3 but I still had a lot of fun putting this costume together and wearing it.
- Personal Thoughts:
- I'm not all that proud of this costume since I don't think that I make a very convincing Jill. I could have done a much better job and I should really fix it up. I'll hopefully wear this costume again in 2010 to do a shoot in downtown Toronto (maybe near City Hall for lulz since Toronto City Hall was Raccoon City Hall in Resident Evil Apocalypse). I owe a big thank you to Heki for finding me a wig for the costume (and Pan for doing a bit more styling to it later) when my original wig fell through. It worked perfectly for the character!
