Construction Details:

I used a thick yellow-orange cotton and a black polyester blend for both the shirt and capri pants. I drafted my own pattern for both pieces as well. I modified a pair of existing sandals that I owned by adding elastic ankle straps.

Personal Thoughts:

I was so happy when Marie and Stein reappeared in the manga! And they had new outfits! The new outfit is a lot more comfortable. The boots in her normal outfit were a pain to walk in and I couldn't take normal strides in the skirt. The sandals and capri pants were a nice change. Also, the shorter sleeves were very welcome in the heat, and the braids helped to keep my wig in check and didn't mess up my collar like the other outfit. In other words, I really love this costume.

Styling Notes

Wig styled by me, and is from my previous Marie costumes, only braided. I made the zig-zag part in the front and back.
