Construction Details:

This costume was probably the most intense one I've had to make. I'd never worked with vinyl before and had little experience using piping. The pattern for the top was drafted for me by my dear friend Tarra and the panels were awkwardly drafted out by me (with the reassurance of friends) I still need to add details to the top, as well as make the armor for the shoes and the strawberry hairbands, but beside all that I'm reasonably happy with the costume. The most exciting thing about wearing Tsugaru is hands down the friends I get to wear her with, as well as the fans of IIDX that excitedly recognize the costume^.^ I'm still... HORRIBLE at beatmania, but I love rhythm games and hope to have more access to the game in the future!
