Hasta, the most random guy in the game. I'm random too, so it works out well. No acting required on my part. Anyway, this was made for a Innocence group that didn't quite happen, but I wore my costume anyway. Dhurhur... there were so few references for this guy, I... admittedly used a little artistic license on the man girdle (belt thing). And, yea, since my ToI group totally fizzled out on me, I didn't bother cutting and styling the wig. What you see is what you get for now... Until my Spada decides to dye her hair green. The jacket was made from red rodeo cotton from Joanns and lined with generic red lining, also from Joanns. It seemed like a great idea to line it at the time, until I was melting in Baltimore. The pants are standard black pants, I did not make them because there's no sense making something you already own. I drafted a pattern for the ruffly shirt and crafted it from leftover twill (which incidentally was salvaged from my first Howl shirt). The first shirt was not great, but it was easily re-purposed for Hasta and worked well. I think I have a thing for box pleats now. His sleeves and the neck ruffle are all box pleated. While pleating takes a while, I find it somehow relaxing and the result is quite fabulous. It's hard to resist. The man-girdle was... a shining example of my insanity. I decided to make it from marine vinyl which was left over from my Kratos costume. While it looks great and leather-like, it also traps heat. I drafted the pattern for the man-girdle and put a back zip in for easy wearing. Like a smarty, I also lined it. It was a little warm and melty when I wore this. This costume may be reworn if/when my group decides to do Innocence again.
