Construction Details:

I made this costume out of some nice bottom weight twill, after finding the perfect shade of tan, and dyeing some white fabric gray for the belt, then spray painting and painting acrylic over it. The green and black arm warmers were purchased from welovecolors.com, and the wool armbands were made by me (I have way too much left over). The boots were from my Sheryl Nome costume at Otakon. And yes, I painted the star on (haha) using a lovely applique marker that I bought. :D And I chose stars for the studs in the belt. Why? Because I thought it was adorable, considering Tsubaki is Black Star's weapon. The muffler around my neck was a gift from my best friend. :]

Personal Thoughts:

So...awkward. lol And comfortable at the same time. I'm not used to showing so much cleavage (not even with my Miwako costume or my Asuka costume at Otakon), so it was strange for me when I put this on. And the symmetry thing bothers me as well; there's only a slit on one side, and she only wears one stocking T_T ITS SO WEIRD. Double sided tape is my best friend.
