Construction Details:

Essentially, I've always wanted to make a Lolita outfit that was more along the lines of a Gothic style. Since Princess K enveloped that style, might as kill two birds with one stone. The most expensive part was the appliques from Michael Levine's. The rest of the fabric were either scrap or purchased for under $5.

Personal Thoughts:

The skirt seemed too short in the original game design. I wanted to add my own interpretation to the style combining what I know about the essentials of Lolita style. Instead of plain T style crosses,I went for something opulent. Instead of making the skirt short, I make a longer, fuller skirt. I've worn this dress to Lolita events and it was received rather nicely.
