About this Costume
Construction Details:
Everything was made from scratch. Each costume was draped & hand sewn onto sheer bodysuits.
Headdresses had to be dyed, attached to combs/clips & wired to be worn. Springs harp is flower stalks & wire. Each backdrop was sized & hand traced. Then each one had to be hand inked in from the back, then painted in from the fronts. Our frames were built to come apart for transport & then were reassembled backstage before the Masquerade. Flowers, birds, "snow", leaves & greenery were all added to help the details pop. There is SO much detail that you can only see in the close ups.

Personal Thoughts:
Costumes & sets based on the artwork of Alphonse Mucha a well known Art Nouveau artist from the 20th century. This piece is titled "The Seasons".
