Construction Details:

A lot of my friends are really into Code Geass and they convinced me that I needed to do a Villetta cosplay. Of all the characters in the series, I probably do like her the best, so it was a good choice =D

The jacket and skirt were very simple to make. I used plum/wine colored Casa satin with gold crepe satin for the trim. All the black fabric was a polyester suiting. I used parts of patterns I had drafted from previous costumes with similar jackets and modified them where it was needed.

The part of the costume that gave me the most trouble was the wig. I sharpie dyed a white wig to get the periwinkle color of her hair, added tons of extensions and then pulled it into a ponytail, stubbed it and glued it, then formed the ponytail extension around that. What gave me the most trouble was supporting the weight of the ponytail in the base of the wig, which I didn't quite do correctly, as the ponytail sagged a bit while wearing it. Still, it was a lot of fun to wear this costume, especially since I made an Ougi costume for the hubs!
