Construction Details:

This is a costume that I made from a tutorial on www.firefly-path.net. She changed the color scheme a little, and I happened to like it a lot so I did too. This costume was a challenge for me. I have never made anything this ruffle-y and frilly in my life! The vest/corset is fully lined and has some boning in it. The grommets were hammered in and the ribbon need to be laced up everytime I wear it. The shirt wasn't too hard, but getting the elastic in it was a pain. The skirt was evil. It has a working zipper in it, is hemmed, and has lace around the edge. I'm not sure about what kind of footwear I will have with this, but I will be wearing knee high socks. I still need to make a crown and get long gloves.
