Construction Details:

The painting and accents on the outfit are all done by me, but the suit itself was bought online. It's a nylon-Lycra blend with the PVC layer that gives the wet look. The lines were lightly drafted onto my chest and back by a friend and my mom, and I then layered the paint on so it'd be thick enough to see. The green accents are, admittedly, not my best, but Carrie (neoangelwink) did a great job fixing them up when she borrowed the costume briefly. Shoes were purchased at Payless and the heels painted teal, and the ring was carefully hunted down and purchased at a random jewelry sale.

Personal Thoughts:

PIERCE THE GODDAMN HEAVENS! Well, I never expected THIS would be my third costume ever. xD I was convinced I'd look like I was in denial about my weight, or like an attention-seeker, or SOMETHING, but when Chris (The_ANARChris) and Carrie (Neoangelwink) came to me with their stunning space-arc Gurren Lagann cosplays and asked me to be their Nia, I was ridiculously excited and had to oblige. I had the greatest time ever wearing this for a shoot at Otakon, and then later at Katsucon after some improvements...and seeing Lagann-hen, hrrrrrng, YES.
