About this Costume
Construction Details:
The fuchsia top is made of stretch knit. The bandanna is made of the same material to match. The scarf & belt are made of pink cotton. Star earrings painted with OPI nail polish and sealed with hard as nails top coat.I also made the microphone out of a large tea strainer and bunch of other stuff around the house. Wore blue contacts because of how blue Hibari's eyes are always drawn. Wish they showed up better in the photos. ): Uber comfortable costume, that I probably would wear even in my normal life. I picked this costume because the style is so me, 80's pop idol in pink! And you know I was dancing around like the ending sequence singing up a storm! ^_~
Personal Thoughts:
80's anime always needs more love! Stop!Hibari-kun has this Urusei Yatsura feeling to it. I am guessing because it from 1983, around the same time urusei was still airing. It's a comedy anime and I love it!
