This was my 3rd cosplay made for a convention. After I realized how my previous Link cosplay did the character no justice whatsoever, I thought I needed to make another Link cosplay to compensate... I guess... And my favorite Link outfit in Twilight Princess was the Zora Armor, so I thought I would try that one out. To say the least, it came out about a zillion times better than my last Link! I started with the helmet, which is 100% model magic. I don't really know how I made the shirt or hat, because that's what I did next, but I didn't use any patterns or anything... I just sewed something and it came out ok??? The scales are all craft foam cut into the right shape, covered in Elmer's glue, and then spray painted silver. They were each hot glued onto the shirt, and they actually stay nicely, except sometimes the ones in my chest area along the zipper cause I guess that's where the most movement is or something. The shield has a styrofoam base and the raised designs are mostly model magic. There's also some wall spackle in there somewhere. :P There's a lot more details I could write about making this cosplay, but I feel as though this description is too long already so I'll stop here.
