[Circa 2004] Before Otakon 2004, I joined a Sailor Moon cosplay group named "Outer Power, Inner Beauty" (who I saw the year before, funnily enough!). They were looking for a Chibimoon and since [a] I was (and am) a big fan of Sailor Moon and [b] Chibiusa's personality was so bratty and mischievous it fit my 14-year-old self. My first fuku made and it took my 24 hours straight. Little did I know that this would start a very long trend of cosplaying pink-haired characters!
