Construction Details:

I had plush pink fabric from a Hunny/Ouran cosplay I never did. I decided to use the fabric to make the Sakura teddy bear that appears at the end of the manga. Unfortunately it shed everywhere and didn't want to cooperate so I had to buy more fabric. Both the jacket and pants are made of black twill. The pants were made ages ago and serve as part of many cosplays. The jacket is made from a modified pattern and is lined (the pants are not). The cuffs of the sleeves are made from left over white casa satin and red bias tape. The six buttons in front are only for decoration; the jacket is held closed by 5 large snaps. The emblem on the left sleeve is done by hand using embroidery thread and a cross stitch base. The tie is a fake tie. It is also made from casa satin and red bias tape. It is held in place by gray satin ribbon strung through the back and then stitched in place. The shirt and shoes are borrowed from many other cosplays just as the pants are. Sakura bear is made from plush fleece and pink flannel. She is completed handsewn, including the wings. Her eyes are black buttons, and her nose and mouth are hand sewn in embroidery thread. She doesn't have any joints so her limbs are sewn to her body and are not movable. She's skinnier than I would like her to be but still very cute.
