Construction Details:

I made this as part of a cosplay pair with me as Jolyne Kujo and Tranquility6487 as Hermes Costello. I really enjoyed making every part of this costume, especially the wig. I got to do a little of everything.. beading, applique, pattern drafting, sewing with stretch fabric, and adding glitzy rhinestones to wherever I could find a place. I used a stretchy green metallic spandex for most of this costume, and hot pink pvc vinyl for the coat. My coat is also lined in white butterfly print fabric, and the gold lettering on the back was added on with iron-on transfers and fabric glue. I custom made the silver web trim out of metallic silver fabric and strips of Heat N' Bond. They were then ironed on and invisible stitched down to the pants and top for reinforcement.

Styling Notes

I used a long green wig as the base. I made stubs for the odangos at the top and covered them with two styrofoam shapes covered in green wig hair. I then sewed in some blonde extensions to the front and made braids that wrapped around the odangos and down the back of the wig.
