For the Cosplay Picnic this Spring, my best friend decided that she was doing Luffy's Galley-La shirt only a weekend before the picnic and that I just HAD to do Nami with her. I said yes, not remembering that it was a hoodie dress rather than a shirt (why must you be difficult, Nami!? Everyone else has on a just and pants!) So, a few days before the picnic the dress was put together, its progress going all the way up until the second we left that day. The dress gave us more problems fitting than expected, due to the pattern being about 5 sizes too big despite my measurements. The Galley-La logo was painted on with fabric paint and at the time the hood was temporarily sewn on. It will be fixed so that it snaps instead for Ikasucon.
