Construction Details:

First worn to AMA 2009 and made between Animazement and AMA. It took me somewhere over 40 hours as I lost count.

It's made of two layers of satin in pink and white. I'm no good at drafting patterns so the dress is made from a strapless prom dress pattern.

All of the rosettes on the hat as well as the single one on the dress are handmade with leftover fabric. The ruffles are all handmade as well. The bow on the back of the dress is made from the leftover satin; it tends to droop a bit.

The hat is drafted by hand and handmade. It's not perfect but my mother likes it, and she normally frowns on my cosplay exploits.

Won Best Novice in Hall Cosplay at AMA 2009.
