Construction Details:

I used all cottons for this. The green jumper is Kona cotton and the dark green undershirt and boot covers are twill. I used McCall’s pattern 5734 as a base and made some modifications, including getting rid of the center seam from the waist up. I also lined the top from the waist up, using this really cool green fabric that looked like wood grain. The jumpsuit zips up the back with an invisible zipper, and the undershirt closes with buttons in the back.

I thought the costume looked a little simple, so I bought these rub-on leaf designs and put them on my headband and the bootcovers. I also painted some wood circles green and added gold leaves to them, then added them to my belt.
