Construction Details:

This is my pet project... On and off working on it for 3 years now. Its still not 100% but that'll be done soon enough.... As of 10/22 - updated quite a lot on the costume... still not fully 100%... need to do the cutwork on the back and finish the leg parts better ^^;;


Figured I should add a bit more about the costume here...

A lot of the fabric textures I picked on a whim. All of the gold on the green fabric is all airbrushed... it didn't exist... so I had to figure out how to make it happen ^^;;

The red is all suede ((my god I love suede)) the lining is all green satin. There's gold lame, as well as gold foil fabric all handsewn onto the costume. The red symbol on the front is all done by hand on the machine - prior to having an embroidery machine.

90% of this costume is put together by hand - just because the machine couldn't do it. Either too many layers of thick fabric, or just because people were sleeping, or the fact that its oddly shaped and was put on my dress form and stitched together there.
