About this Costume
Construction Details:
So while the SZS manga was lollerific, the anime is kind of REVOLUTIONARY! Jun is the more-awesome-than-first-glance bookworm rival to Kino Kuniya. I love him. I actually tried to do his eyes justice with makeup, but not with much noticeable results other than giving myself lowerlid eyelashes. Iroha573 just happened to be cosplaying Zetsubou Sensei at the same sakura-viewing event and I don't think I've ever fangirled a complete stranger so hard before XD; No girls around.. I had Sensei all to myself! YES. Ok well ZiggyB joined in later to hang out as a library committee student (?) Why did he get Peter Pan to read? idk..
Personal Thoughts:
Once there was a teen who loved to read books and looked down on comics. "Of course illustration is easy with actual pictures, there is nothing special about the craft! Words are much more challenging!" Then one day the teen read a comic in a foreign language with barely any detailed drawings. Regardless, the teen laughed, cried, groaned, and got angry along with the characters and felt every emotion just as clearly as if it were written. The teen came to a realization: comics are ok afterall, as long as you don't pay too much for import fees.
