I planned this costume since 2005 and the first version of this was made from this picnic table material. After years of neglect, I found that it was a TERRIBLE idea. Hikaru is a flexible and mobile character, and picnic table material was a ridiculous idea. I don't know what I even thought of it years ago. I'm glad I tossed Hikaru ver. 1 and completely did it over.
