Construction Details:

I was approached a few hours before January prereg for Anime Boston '09 closed and asked to participate in a group cosplay and masquerade performance, and if I agreed I HAVE to be prereg, so I had very little time to think "WHAT is Vocaloid, WHY do people care?" I knew absolutely nothing about this character until a few days before con (crunch time!) when I was desperately looking for a reference pic for costume judging. This is my very first "real" cosplay. I figured and sewed most of it together on my own, in which case I'm very proud of how it came out. Masquerade photos are by David Ng (ngmaster) Anime Boston 2009
