Construction Details:

Layers, layers, layers! Between the skirt and the bodice, there are so many layers of satin and chiffon, lol. I cut and draped the skirt layers so there wouldn't be any side seams, and also so it would have that "handkerchief" diagonal-pointed shape.

For the main part of the bodice, sleeves, and underskirt, I used an embossed bridal satin to give the dress some texture under the layers of chiffon - cream and yellow-y colors tend to look like a wench with my complexion, so I wanted to break up the "OMG CREAM-COLORED BLOB"-ness that this costume could've turned into.

Personal Thoughts:

Kenshinoro is my Suzaku, and dare I say, he does a mean Spinzaku kick. Also, the skit we did for Anime North: Code Geass: Sparta Style

Styling Notes

The first wig I used for this was the Euphemia character wig from Cosplaywig. However, after wearing it a few times, it got tangled beyond repair and I had to get a new base wig. I cut the bangs and curled them just slightly to match the character design.
