Construction Details:

This is a remake of Dion Rogers Rinoa, and I have to say that I have never been more proud of a costume. I decided to remake it because I have perfection issues, and in my mind, the first version wasn't good enough. So, I sought out to make a more accurate version.

I bought the fabric online (it's ribbed like Rinoa's usual outfit which I thought was perfect). The top was pieced together over a week or two. I made sure to keep a reference picture nearby to make things as accurate as possible. The wings (both pairs) Are painted on with acrylic paint, I had to use poster board as a stencil. Luckily it didn't bleed through ^^;

To keep to the accuracy theme, I purchased a short wig like the Dion Rogers artwork shows. It actually looks really good with the whole outfit. The shoes were ordered from SetsunaKou, and they are PERFECT! I recommend her work to anyone looking for accurate detailed accessories or props.

Bottom line, I LOVE this costume. I spent months on it and I have to say that I am finally satisfied.
