Construction Details:

From the Johnny Entertainment label, Kanjani8 or their manga: Honma Ni Kanjani8. I'm the Blue (Yasuda Shota) Eito Ranger! In their concerts they fight crime, and solve love problems. It's so amusing to see the progression, from t-shirts to ranger outfits to sparkly ranger outfits. This is their first full ranger outfit, the full suite was bought off of ebay. We sewed the 8 on the butt and removed any logo it came with. The helmets are painted, originally a plastic helmet from a costume store. It was pretty much an arts and crafts project, making the 8's and wings. The cuffs are actually supposed to look slipped on and cut and measured by the width of our arms. The belts are plain white belts and we attached the 8-eyes to the belt buckle. Not seen in pictures: the gloves. In the heat it was bad enough wearing these and the gloves didn't help so we didn't wear them. This was a group effort between Tina (green) and I for all three costumes.
