Construction Details:

Well, Seras is one of those cosplays that I just HAD to do. I knew of Hellsing for a few years now, but I just finished watching the OVA this year. And god do I love it. Seras stood out the most for me (I have a thing for big gun wielding characters...) So immediately I knew I needed to cosplay her. I had some doubt since I've never seen myself with blonde hair, and I didn't want to do the anime version. But I think everything worked out for the best. The shirt came out better than I possible could have imagined. This one the first time I used my sewing machine 'Remy Lebeuf' since I got it for christmas. He broke, but the minute it was repaired I went to work on this. The top and skirt is made from stretch poplin, it was originally white and dyed sunset yellow once everything was done. The patches were iron on, and purchased from an online seller. I alter patterns in order to get the look I wanted, I ran into some problems near the end since I was running out of fabric, but I used my ability to fix things and made it work.

Personal Thoughts:

I never would have imagined that straddling a 6 and a half foot cannon for pics would be so much fun...
