Construction Details:

I made each peace of the costume including the ring blade. Total work time on this costume was about half a year, I started last summer and finished 4/11/09. Just before Sakuracon started XP. lol My mom helped me with my top because it had to fit my body like a glove, as well as the hat. I built the frame out of foam and she sewed the black cover over it. The rest was painted with fabric paints and the emblems were made of fimo clay. The armor is wonderflex, I painted the skulls and sewed them on. The skull emblems are made out of foam,wood and wonderflex. The shoes are old cowboy boots that I cut up, painted with fabric paint, made side boot covers and the toe is made out of wonderflex. My skirt and bell sleeves are made out of pleather. The chain on the shoes and top is real metal chain, because I love the way metal looks in photos and it's what she would have. lol
