A helmet with a metal/cardboard/plastic-baggie-stuffed frame fills out the top of this costume, with the trademark "No Face" mask attached as well. The fabric drapes over all of this, with a section of see-through fabric (think school-sports-jerseys) just below the masks' chin. And best of all, inserted where the seam of the see-through fabric met the black-cloak fabric, are the JAWS. These are a simple gravity-based "puppet" hinge of hanger-wire, with a cardboard pouch built offa that. I ran a line of plastic thread from the top jaw to the bottom to tie it closed from the inside(which broke after 3 days of heavy use - easy to replace, though), but fishing-line would've worked just as well. The teeth are carved styrofoam hot-glued to a cardboard base and coated w/white silicon-latex caulk to give it a more consistent surface texture. I'll probably add something clear & hard, like clear nail polish, to give it that shiny-teeth look. The pink "gums" are carefully cut foam sheets (same stuff the mask is made of, on top of cardboard) with pink fabric to create a stuffed tongue and cover my face/finish the back of the mouth cavity. Mask, mouth, and helmet-fill-in construction was all done by me, but for the sewing of all the black fabric & the bending of the hanger-wire for the upper frame, all credit goes to my friend Makenna Cornwall. Accessories: cheap pair of black costume gloves ($3 - already needs replacing) ~: Debuted at Sakuracon 2009 :~
