Construction Details:

I first made a fuu costume before I even knew what cosplay was. I wore it to a halloween party which is where I met my husband (Ferio in some of the photos), so this costume has a lot of sentimental value to me. I wanted to make it again, this time so it wasn't so pitiful (I had no sewing skills the first time around). And this is the result! There are still a few things I might tweak later on, but I am really happy with how it turned out. I made the gold waistband like a corset, it has boning and laces up the back. The armor is paper-mache (I learned how to do craft-foam armor when working on this, but it was too late. You can see my husband has craft-foam armor since I made his costume second.)
