Personal Thoughts:

My roommates and I decided to be Jem and the Holograms and the Misfits for Halloween 2001. I was Jem and I made my costume completely from scratch, including the belt. It was a huge project for someone so inexperienced as I was in sewing. I pinned the dress together and my mom using the sewing machine to sew it together. I think it turned out great considering I didn't even have a pattern!
