Construction Details:

The dress is constructed from a sheer black silk that I was lucky enough to stumble upon in a discount bin. Since the silk is so sheer, I used two layers of it for the top and also for the layers of the skirts.
I didn't actually make a pattern for this at all, instead I just draped it over my dressform and added darts where they were needed.

Since the movie isn't out yet and there was a severe lack of reference pictures of Camille at the party before her dress gets pretty much destroyed in the desert scenes that follow, I ended up making my dress more like the tattered version of the dress seen on the QoS movie posters.
