Construction Details:

Creating Shippuden Akamaru & Kiba was quite a task,6 months of work constructing everything from scratch, consisiting of over 17 yards of fur,22 yards of Batting,12 yards of white broad cloth,28 corner brackets,72 screws and bolts,150 pounds of lumber,324 glue sticks,6 yards of velcro,2 voice recorders with roar sounds and ALOT of trial and error. Akamaru will most likely be my ultimate cosplay to date, He weighs over 300 pounds and takes a van to transport, I made him so I can ride on top of him just like Kiba does in the anime, so not only did I have to build it I had to construct it to hold my weight as well.It was literally a 6 month project that cost me well over $700.00 and ALOT of blood,sweat and tears to bring to life.
