Construction Details:

Back in late 2007 I decided that I wanted to Cosplay a nurse from one of the Silent Hill games, but I didn't think that I was capable of doing the makeup or sculpting to make a monster nurse. Instead I thought it would be fun to Cosplay as Lisa, the tragic human nurse in the first game. I bought most of the materials and the shoes for this costume in late 2007 but I kept putting off making the outfit until early 2009 when I decided that Lisa would be a fairly easy costume to pack and bring to Katsucon. I had a lot of fun Cosplaying as Lisa with my friend Meg (Obscurity) as Henry. I did a fun shoot during the evening with Meg, SolarTempest and Carroll. My dress looks a little frumpy in some of the photos because my belt needed to be adjusted. I'll remember to check for that before I do another shoot. XD Also, excuse the fact my nose is a little red in some of the photos. It was freezing outside while we were shooting. (^^);; I adjusted the length of my dress to make it more accurate to her dress length in Silent Hill 1 and I did a photoshoot with Stillvisions on Saturday night of Otakon 2009. I'm really happy with how this costume turned out now that I've altered it. :3

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was a real switch for me since I usually Cosplay younger characters, boys and tomboys. XD I'm really happy that it turned out nicely. I was especially thrilled by the cardigan which my mother knit for me. I learned through this costume that I fail at wearing high heels, but I can't wait to Cosplay as Lisa again despite that!
