Construction Details:

I am going to alter the hair just a little bit more before my next con, so expect that to be better. Overall, I am happy with the way this one turned out, although I wish that the black crinoline/underskirt had turned out poofier :) Lost one of my moons during transportation and had to take the one off the ankle bracelet to attach to my forehead. (I attached it with eyelash adhesive, btw.) I had earrings on, but they were hard to see under all the hair...The heels did hurt a bit after a while, but it was worth it! I wanted the back to have some visual interest, so I added the corset back, and the poofs were a part of the original character costume. This fabric was on sale and it did fray and wrinkle something awful. I may also alter the straps as they were too big and kept slipping off my shoulder. The makeup was...average, but not great. I really liked that I was (I think) the only Luna (at least this version, I think there was a Sailor Luna) at the convention. This was my first "real" costume, at my second con. At Nekocon the previous year I was a Neko-girl ^_^ I plan to take a picture of the back of the dress at the next convention I wear it too, as I forgot to do so this time around. Please comment!
