Construction Details:

This costume cost around $300 for materials (some had to be bought in bulk) and took around 34 hours total time. My mom did the sewing while I made all of the details.

The buttons and badge are hand sculpted using Sculpy clay, then spray-painted to get the color and sheen just right and finally given an acrylic wash to give a bit of an 'antique' look.

The pouches that you can kind of see in a few of the pictures are hand stitched leather.

I used real hair extensions to create the bangs and to add to my own hair to get the style right. The long hair in the back is my real hair.

The monkey was purchased, but I had to change the colors(anything black used to be pink).

The whip is an actual 10' leather bull whip that I also purchased.

I consider this costume about 80% finished. I'm still working on the arm plate armor. I'm also trying to get the armor to stay on the boots (epoxy and/or hot glue only work so well on pleather).
