Construction Details:

The whole outfit is made out of a bridal white satin. The skirting is a full circle skirt that is finished with a thin bias tape. The top piece is fully lined and boned with the corseting up the back. All of the buttons are metal buttons that have had the back flattened in and then glued down to the corset. The cape piece is another full circle that is edged in the same bias as the skirting. It is attached to a burgandy band that is pinned down to the corset top. All of the designs and additional bias on the band are hand painted with a gold fabric paint. All of the accessories are made out of foamy and are hand painted the same gold as the detailing on the burgandy band. They have black mixed into the gold to give more depth and dimension to the pieces.
