Construction Details:

Overall, there are plenty of things I would do differently if I ever get around to making the costume again. After getting a few more costumes under my belt (and making a far better Alucard coat for my boyfriend), I can't stand the coat I made for this. I also do not like the grey jacket and pants that I originally bought for it, and want to just make my own. Plus I can't stand the ascot I made.

Personal Thoughts:

My friends got me hooked on Hellsing earlier in 2007. It was spring semester and I already was tossing ideas around for Halloween. When I started watching the anime and reading the manga, I realized I found my costume. I started on it over the summer and when I heard of Anime Iowa, I scrambled to get enough of it done. I ran out of time and didn't have all of it done, however, I've since finished/redone parts. I replaced the wig as well which I love compared to my original. I originally wanted to remake the costume to wear at cons again, but that's put on hold indefinitely.
