Construction Details:

This was an interesting experiment. What I did was paint a gradient pattern across the designs on white fabric. Then I cut out the designs and used heat n bond to attach it to the black fabric. It worked well on the cape, not so well on the shirt. Not sure why. This is probably not a technique I will use again but it was interesting to try and see how it looked.

You can also see my eyepatch which I spent 6 hours beading by hand. I'm probably going to make it a little smaller (the patch itself not the beading). The eye might be a little too big but I really don't want to spend another six hours taking it apart and putting it back together XD

The cape is handsewn. You can't really see much of the outfit in the pictures we took but it gives you an idea.

Personal Thoughts:

This will probably be my last Fai costume for awhile. I'm going to try and break away from the Tsubasa insanity I have gotten myself wrapped up in XD
