Construction Details:

I am a sucker for ruffly things it seems! Most of this costume I was able to make from scrap material. The corset was some left over brocade I found in the scrap bin at Jo-ann fabrics. It only took a few hours to make, I used peltex to stabilize the inside in lieu of boning...because boning hurts like a you know what to wear @_@. The dress was discounted fabric from christmas season so I think I spent a total of 50$ making this whole thing =P. I used 16 yards of metallic sheen fine netting for the gathered ruffles and had to hand sew the majority of it because it was too thick and delicate to run through my sewing machine! The netted shirt and the crown I bought seperately. I'm deffinately going to wear this dress at some point in my cosplay this year because its just too cool and turned out way better than I thought!
