Babble:
I can't begin to go into the design and effort that finally resulted in the completion of this costume. I worked slowly on Saku for about a year, and I think the only costume that's taken more of my love and attention was her brother Kagetoki. Saku is the second of my "Image Characters" that I've actually gotten to cosplay and wearing the costume makes me ridiculously happy. The fans and kimono are hand-painted with stencils made based on reference, everything from tabi to wig was made or styled by me. The hairpiece in the wig is beaded with a flower design that I made up myself.

- Styling Notes
- The fibers of this wig are extremely smooth and good quality; great to style. There is also a large skin-part at the top, so changing where it parts was not a problem. It was very difficult to get the bangs to hang down at all, instead of sweeping off to the side I did not use any heat on this though, which might have helped. The hair piece is beaded and is actually sewn in to the mesh of the wig to make sure it doesn't slip.
