Construction Details:

Pyrite Aconite is a character devised after I wanted to create a Steampunk crew. She is considered the scientist/alchemist of the ship and has some interesting little accessories. The majority of the costume is found objects from various thrift and army surplus stores. The rest was made personally by each member of the group. We are the crew of the "Aperture" Air-Ship. "We do what we must because we can" (our homage to Portal)

Personal Thoughts:

I attended the SoCal Cosplay Picnic with a group of friends as a preliminary test for our Steampunk group. I took home the "Firefly-Path Choice Award" for my steampunk costume and ended up with a pair of gorgeous wings for an award (they look like glass!). This is another of my ever changing costumes, expect updates.
